Centre for Socially Applied Arts

2016 – 2018 University of Bradford

The CSAA was a programme of exhibitions, events and labs across Bradford, delivered as part of my role as Producer Music and Visual Arts at University of Bradford with support from Arts Council England.

The CSAA used Gallery II at University of Bradford as a hub to explore and develop research-based, interdisciplinary, socially-engaged creative practice in the context of a technology-focused University. The programme included Lawrence Abu-Hamdan, Asociación de Arte Util, Chto Delat, Wochenklausur, Bad Practice (Rehana Zaman, Gill Park, Louise Shelley, Amy Charlesworth), Helen Kaplinsky, UNIT, and developed partnerships with National Science and Media Museum, The 1in12 Club, Bradford Museum and Galleries, and The Hepworth.
