2024 – 2026 Halifax
A commission from Calderdale Council to interpret Halifax’s civic identity through a sound-based artwork created from public focus groups and archival material. This includes a vinyl concept album, audio trail, and performances.
The sessions included pop-up events in the Borough Market and focus groups in the Town Hall where we explored the civic life of Calderdale. The stories and anecdotes gathered from these sessions are worked into the final sound piece with visual material from Michael Powell.
